Wincy Sullivan

Wilhemina "Wincy" Cranford Sullivan, 83, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord April 30, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Sullivan. Her early career days included being a secretary for Youth For Christ. Following her time there, she was employed by Supermarket Systems, Inc. until she retired at age 82. Wincy was active in the homeless ministry at her church, Sharon Presbyterian, where she also taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Her immediate family includes children, Buffy Layne and husband, Jeffrey, and Jody N. Sullivan and fiancé Julie Laughter; brothers, Delbert and Harvey Cranford; grandchildren, Hunter, Cooper, Jessie, and Heidi Layne; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the homeless ministry of Sharon Presbyterian Church, 5201 Sharon Rd. Charlotte, NC 28210. - -
