Trae Benson Casey

Trae Benson Casey, 28, of Charlotte, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 14, 2011. Trae was born March 9, 1983, in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was the son of Terry and Cindy Casey of Denver, North Carolina, and the grandson of Benson and Magel Casey of Charlotte. Trae graduated from East Lincoln High School in 2001, and was also a graduate of Gaston College where he majored in HVAC. Trae was a true southern gentleman in every way and demonstrated this in every action and deed. He valued, and was truly devoted to his friends. Terry and Cindy were so proud to have him as their son. He really loved the outdoors which included hunting, fishing, visiting the family mountain property, and collecting the classic old movies. Trae will be missed by all who knew him, however, he will remain in our hearts and thoughts with fond and loving memories. Dear Son, Once you were our pride and joy, Our pride and joy alone.
