Ronnie Dale Benton

Ronnie Dale Benton, 64, of Monroe, but formerly of Mint Hill, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday morning, December 1, 2011. He was born July 16, 1947, in Mecklenburg County and was the son of the late Dalton Benton and Adalene Thomas Benton. Ronnie was a member of Love Baptist Church in Monroe and participated faithfully there over the years. He was a good-hearted, kind, and gentle man who truly loved his family and friends. His immediate family includes his wife, Lucy Benton; children, Kevin D. Benton, and his wife, Amanda, of Mint Hill, Nicholas (Ryan) Benton of Concord, Michael Darren Manshack of GA, Alicia Turk of MO, and Shannon Black of Charlotte; his sisters, Judy Keith of Concord, and June Keziah of Monroe. The family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, that memorial donations be made to the Love Baptist Church Building Fund.
