Rev. Aretta Elizabeth Buchanan, 91, of Charlotte, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, November 3, 2013. She was born March 3, 1922, in Charlotte, and was the daughter of the late Noland B. Richardson and Bertha N. Case Richardson. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Nolan and Howard, and her sister, Ruth Covington. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Lewis Buchanan; sister, Nell Lanford; and nieces and nephews. She will be loved and missed by family and friends. -
