Michael Joseph Lowen

Michael Joseph Lowen, 60, of Charlotte, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 7, 2014. Born in Charlotte, Michael was a free spirit who traveled extensively before settling down in New York City, where he lived for several years before returning to North Carolina. He lived life enthusiastically and enjoyed camping, photography, music, art, philately, science fiction and was an accomplished harmonica player. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Gladys Lowen, but is survived by his siblings, Joanne Trull (Marvin) of Monroe, NC; Linda Doupnik (Tom) of Austin, TX; and Gregory Lowen (Marina) of Rockville, MD, and by several nephews and a niece. -
