Mary Davis Wolfe Sleet

Mary Sleet, of Charlotte, born January 4, 1923, passed into the arms of the Lord Jesus Saturday, January 28, 2012. Mary was born and raised in Charlotte. She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Howard Wolfe and Barbara Davis Wolfe; her brothers, Daniel Howard Wolfe, and John Wolfe, and her husband, Robert Emmett Sleet, Sr. A wonderful, patient, kind, graceful mother, she is survived by her seven children, Robert E. Sleet, Jr. (Barbara), John E. Sleet (Sandra), Mary Ann Gantt (Stan), Barbara Walden, Jean Deaton, Carol Dean (Cecil), and Daniel H. Sleet (Helen). Also, she is survived by her seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials in Mary's name be given to Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region.
