Marvin had a tremendous impact on my and my family’s lives. I wouldn’t have had the wonderful career I’ve had without his help and guidance. So very sad to see him go, however I’m strengthened to know he lived a long and productive life, and was loved by many. He was such a strong positive influence on countless people throughout his life. Rest in peace, Marvin. My prayers for the Snead family.

  2. Kathy Foskey Fletcher says

Margie, I haven’t seen you and Marvin since I was probably a teenager. You and Marvin were good friends with my mama and daddy, Billie Jo and Donald Foskey from Hamlet, NC. I remember going to visit you all in Ocala, FL, I believe. I am sorry to hear of Marvin’s passing. I forwarded the obituary to my daddy, who lives in Dublin, GA. Mama passed away in 2008. My husband and I live in Monroe, NC near Sun Valley High School. We are praying for you and your family.
