Lu D. Schulz

Lu D Schulz died on April 15th, 2014. She was the daughter of Eudora Dorow Kotke and Clifford Dorow. She is preceded in death by her husband, Erv Schulz and her sister, Joy Heath. Lu was a generous person whose husband, daughters, family and friends were of foremost importance in her life. Lu's immediate family include daughter's Sandy (Dave), Sue (Jeff) and Sharie (Scott) and brother Paul. Lu was richly blessed with eight grandchildren and ten great grand children. Lu and Erv were married for 62 years. They loved to travel, meet new people, and learn new things along their journeys. They raised their family in Wisconsin and moved to Raleigh in 1974. In 2005, they moved to the Polo Club of Matthews. They made fond memories with wonderful neighbors in this community. Lu was a great advocate for Parkinson's Disease and she was an inspiration to all as she faced her challenges in the most positive way. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lu's name to Matthews United Methodist Church, Daily Bread Ministry, 801 Trade Street, Matthews, NC 28105. -
