Lana Carol Beaty

Lana Carol Beaty, 66, formerly of Charlotte, but now residing in Fort Mill, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord late Thursday evening May 26, 2011. Carol was born March, 19, 1945, in Troy, North Carolina, the daughter of Harvey M. and Mary H. Greene. Beloved by many, Carol loved the Lord her God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength. Her extended family, friends, and church family were considered to be great treasures in her life. She spent her retired years serving the Lord through the ministries of Steele Creek Church of Charlotte, South Monroe Church, and Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child. Carol's immediate family includes her husband of 49 years, James B. Beaty; her daughter, Stacey M. Beaty; her grandson, Keegan McCorkle; her mother, Mary Greene; and her brother, Timothy M. Greene and his wife, Anna Marie; nephew, Matthew T. Greene; niece, Amanda Marie Bellenger and her husband, Matthew. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that memorial contributions be made to one or more of the three wonderful organizations that the family has suggested under "Place a Donation" listed to the immediate left. * "All That I Am" All that I am and all I will be I want to be in You; For the waters I cross When the bridges seem down, I cross because you wanted me to.
