Judith Rae Garris White "Mrs. Judy" or "Nonnie" finished her race to be with Jesus on May 16, 2019.
She was 76 years old and a Charlotte native. She graduated from South Mecklenburg high school and Kings College.
"Mrs. Judy" moved to Indian Trail, NC in 1976 after marrying. She devoted her life to raising her daughters and grandchildren.
She attended Indian Trail Presbyterian Church where she played the organ for over 20 years. Mrs. Judy solely ministered to hundreds of people privately and personally with her card ministry.
She loved flowers, gardening, cooking, her family and talking. She had many friends and never met a stranger.
Her favorite thing to say was "Life isn't always great, but it's all you've got... so put a daisy In your hat and be happy! ".
She was preceded in death by her first husband, "Chip" Kiser, and her parents, Tyler and Betty Garris
She is survived by her husband, Paul, her daughters Posey Hunter(Ronnie) and Meredith "Muffy" Hill (Brian)
Her grandchildren Nolan Hunter and his wife Cori Jane , Hayden Hunter , Jordan Hunter and his girlfriend Brooke Werts , Abbey Hunter and Jackson Hill. One great-granddaughter Paisley Jane Hunter of Nolan And Cori Hunter.
