Joe Hal Jefferies

Mr. Joe Hal Jefferies, 82, of Indian Trail, NC entered his heavenly home April 27, 2011. Joe was born in Cherokee County, South Carolina, August 23, 1928 to the late Paul and Ruth Jefferies. He graduated from Gaffney High School and attended the University of South Carolina. He retired from Dexter Corporation. Joe loved the Lord, his wife Carolyn, and his family with all of his heart. Joe was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who always put others first. The blessing and legacy of his love for his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends cannot be measured. He taught us all how to love and be better people. Joe is survived by his wife of 60 years Carolyn of Indian Trail; his children, Steven Hal Jefferies and wife Pam of Monroe, NC; Susan Parker and husband Brad of Mint Hill, NC; Jennifer Jefferies of Rock Hill, SC. Grandchildren TJ Jefferies of Sitka, AK, Michael Jefferies of Monroe, NC, Myrick Parker and wife Jenna of Mint Hill, NC, Meredith Parker of Mint Hill, NC, Micah Parker of Manhattan, NY, Landon Langley-Jefferies and Jason Langley-Jefferies of Rock Hill, SC and a sister Mary Ruth Clark of Sun City, AZ.
