Mr. Frank Gerald Honeycutt, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday evening, January 28, 2012. He was the son of Jason Curtis Honeycutt and Bertie McIntosh Honeycutt. Frank was born in Ashville, NC January 19, 1935. Mr. Honeycutt retired as office manager from London Guarantee & Accident Insurance Co. Frank served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was an active member of the DAV-Disabled American Veterans association. Frank is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Theresa Elmore Honeycutt. Frank and Theresa have been members of St. Paul United Methodist since 1964. In earlier years Frank sang in the choir and worked with the youth at St. Paul. Frank is also survived by his sisters in law, Francis Honeycutt (wife of the late Ralph Honeycutt) and Doris Honeycutt (wife of the late Rev Horace Honeycutt); nephews, Kenneth, Rev. Ricky, Gerald Honeycutt, Harvey Kermit, and Ronnie Honeycutt Painter; niece, Betty Sue Honeycutt Byrd, and other nieces and nephews; a god-daughter, Patti Cribb. Frank is predeceased by siblings Burgin, Sadie, Ralph, Vinnie, Rev. Horace Honeycutt and twins Ilene and Pauline.
