Esther McDaniel Reynolds

Esther McDaniel Reynolds, 90, passed peacefully on April 1, 2015 at White Oak Manor in Charlotte. She was born January 1, 1925, in Ludville, Georgia, to the late Rev. Leonard and Bessie McDaniel. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Floyd Reynolds; sisters, Lillie Eva Lawson and Ethel (Skeets) Durham and brother, Jack McDaniel. Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her step-daughters Barbara Kennedy and husband, Jim; Gwendolyn Hoover and husband, Harry. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Ralph V. Durham, Sr.; her niece Sandra Pulliam and daughters, Meredith and Natalie; and nephew Ralph Durham, Jr., wife, Sharon and son, Ross. Mrs. Reynolds attended Lee College and graduated from Bob Jones University. She worked thirty years as State Secretary for the Church of God Offices in North Carolina. She was a member of Central Church of God. The family is thankful to White Oak Manor and Hospice and Palliative Care of Charlotte for their compassionate care.
