Eleanor McNinch "Sissy" Fox

Eleanor McNinch "Sissy" Fox, 74, of Charlotte, died peacefully surrounded by her family early Wednesday morning, September 21, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Roscoe L. "Buddy" Fox, June 5, 2011. A native of Charlotte, Sissy graduated from Myers Park High School and St. Mary's College in Raleigh. She was a member of the Junior League of Charlotte and the SOC Club. Her immediate family includes her children, William "Bill" Fox (Tina) of Waxhaw, Eleanor "El" F. Maynard (John) of Stanley, and Elizabeth "Liz" Kendrick (Scott) of Stanley; her grandchildren, Caitlyn Fox, Cullen Fox, Alex Maynard, Logan Kendrick, and Lindsey Kendrick; her brothers, Sam McNinch and Jerry McNinch, both of Charlotte. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Myers Park United Methodist Church General Fund or Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.
