Connie Elaine Shields

Connie Elaine Shields, 65, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016, at her home in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Born in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, she is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Eldred Gulledge and Lois Ruth Peeler Gulledge and her husband, Edwin L. Shields. Left to cherish her memory is her immediate family that includes her brother, Lonnie Wayne Gulledge and his wife, Darlene and two sisters, Becky Bost and her husband, Delane, and Diane Dease and her husband, Bobby; nephews Junior Bost and his wife, Robin, Lonnie Pless and his fiance, Anna Robinson, Veron Barton and his wife Amelia; a niece, Brittany Dixon and her husband, Brandon; 2 grand nieces, Cigi Fisher and her husband, Casey, and Lauren Bost; and 2 great grand nieces, Sutton Fisher and Addison Barton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 401 E. 16th St. Kannapolis, NC 28083 or Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081. - -
