Billy Wayne Turner

Billy Wayne Turner, 64, of Gastonia, NC peacefully entered his heavenly home with his loving family by his side on September 13th, 2021.

He was a dedicated, hard working employee at Coca-Cola Consolidated for 47 years, as a maintenance mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting Hot Wheels, and making memories with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Billy is survived by his wife, Diane Turner, of 34 years; daughters Crystal Timmons, Brittany Meakin, and Haley Turner; brothers David Turner and Jimmy Turner; grandchildren Branson Meakin, Colton Meakin, Ava Williams and Skylar Turner. He is preceded in death by his parents Jessie Turner and Thelma Turner; sister Janice McDaniel and his son Blake Turner.

Funeral services for Mr. Turner will take place on Monday September 20th, 2021 at Sovereign Grace Presbyterian Church at 3326 Archdale Dr. Charlotte, NC 28210. Visitation is at 10am. Funeral at 11am. Graveside service to follow immediately after service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery at 4601 Freedom Dr. Charlotte, NC 28208.
