Bill H. LeFeber

September 2, 1925 — October 25, 2010

William H.(Bill) LeFeber, 85, of Charlotte, passed away October 25, 2010. He was born September 2, 1925, in York, New York, the son of William and Armanda LeFeber. After serving in the US Air Force during World War II, Bill graduated from Alfred University with a Masters degree in Education. He spent many years in education where he taught social studies, was a guidance counselor, high school principal, coached soccer, basketball, and retired as superintendent in 1980. He was very active in the Congregational Church in Wellsville, NY. After retiring, Bill and Reta moved to Charlotte, NC where he devoted time to his church, Room in the Inn, and Habitat for Humanity. He was a member of the South Park Lions Club, Rochester Consistory, and James K. Polk Lodge #759 AF&AM. His mother, father, and brother precede him in death. Bill's immediate family includes his wife of 63 years, Reta; daughters, Joyce Palmieri (Jim) of Charlotte, Janet Cushing (Tom) of Avon, NY, Jill Leckie (Fred) of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Jeff Schuler (Johna) of Germany, Bethany Fawcett (Bryan) of Charlotte, Emily Cosimano (Kyle) of Avon, NY, Ryan Cushing of Chicago, Rachel Palmieri of Raleigh, and Mark Palmieri of Pittsburg, PA.
