Wright of SC, Jean Bacus of WA, Johnny Wright of NC, and Bob Wright of OH, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three brothers. A. J. loved his family, friends, neighbors, and enjoyed visitors anytime. During his youth he lived in Avery County, NC and worked to build the bridges of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Later in life he worked for Pneumafil Corporation in Charlotte, NC. After retirement from Pneumafil, he spent his time traveling, gardening, woodworking, leatherworking, and clock making. He was always willing to help out a family member, friend, or neighbor. In the final years of his life, he moved into an assisted living facility where he flourished. He enjoyed being a participant in all the games and being part of the group. When you think of A. J., one always thinks of his infectious smile and how it lit up the room. A special thanks goes to the staff at Presbyterian Medical Center on 3C and Harris Hospice. Also a special thanks to the staff and residents, especially Beverly, at Carillon Assisted Living in Harrisburg, NC. And a final thank you to all the family and friends who helped support A.
