The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carl Stybe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Karl and Robin,
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Karl’s father. We had the privilege of knowing him for only a short while, but he made quite an impression on us. He will always be remembered.

Sincerely,
Joe and Jane

Condolence: Dear Karl and Kris: We love your Dad! When we moved next door to Jean and Carl, our dogs first introduced us. Guinness and our Maggie became fast friends and the four people and two dogs spent many afternoons having a cold beverage in the yard. Carl would have been working on one of many projects around the house and take a break to come visit a little. Slowly but surely, Maggie moved into their house and then we would come over to visit all of them ;) Your parents were friends to use when we were new to the neighborhood, as we had kids, and as the kids grew. We would go over and they would take out a truck or crayons and paper they had on hand for them. Carl and Jean were like a bonus set of grandparents for our kids and such lovely company for us (to say nothing of the love they shared with our dogs through the years). Carl was kind, easy to talk to, friendly, thoughtful, interested and interesting. We are so sorry for the pain everyone who loves him feels.
