Condolence: So many of us were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with Andy during his time here. Mine was during the Disney days. Following that time, and the passing of several years, we reconnected and were able to share our lives again. Always grateful to have Andy as a part of my life's experiences, and will never forget. RIP, my friend!
What a life story Andy had! I loved reading it - very impressive! My memories are of Andy coming into Wal-Mart and wanting his food bagged a certain way. Most cashiers didn't like that but I respected his choices and was always willing to accommodate him. I always loved visiting with y'all and so glad we became friends that way. I am honored to have known such a wonderful man of God and I pray He will lift you up and comfort you and your family during this difficult time. God Bless you all.
Condolence: Andy was such a great soul. The times we spent together allowed me an insight to his talent and love for the Lord. I know he loved you and his Children. What a tremendous loss to your family and us for his friendship. GOD bless you today and put a shield of love and protection around you all
Condolence: I met Andy in 1974 while at college in Orlando. He was a respiratory therapist at Orange Memorial Hospital. He helped me get my first job at Arnold Palmer Hospital as a therapist.
We laughed all the time! One day I heard Andy singing in the department. I persuaded him to let me introduce him to Thurlow Spurr, the music director at Calvary Assembly of God in Winter Park. I was a trumpet player in the orchestra and I knew Andy had great talent. The two met and well, the rest was history.
Andy was a great friend. He was insightful and compassionate. He loved his family and was so proud of his children. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. There is no telling the lives that were transformed by his music ministry. I am certain that one of the great joys in Heaven will be meeting those who say "thanks" for the life you lived!
Blessing to all family and friends who will miss this gentle giant!
Condolence: what a wonderful personality Andy had! He always pushed to bring out the best in our choir! I enjoyed working with him and will always remember his dedication to the Lord and his delightful sense of humor! My prayers are for contentment for Dixie and the family knowing Andy has now entered Heavens gates !
